Vigilessa, AI loss prevention on existing cameras, for businesses across Europe, in 13 languages

Vigilessa is the international version of Paznicul Virtual, built for the European Union market. It turns the cameras a business already has into AI agents that compare what is handed over at the till with the receipt in the point-of-sale system, and send an alert only when the two do not match, with the clip and the receipt. We built the whole ecosystem: a website in 13 languages, a blog that writes and translates itself, customer accounts and a social presence in the languages of Europe.

— ABOUT THE PROJECT

Till losses look the same in Athens, Munich or Lisbon: an item handed over without a receipt, a receipt voided after payment, a drawer opened without a sale, a staff discount used for a customer. The cameras record all of it, but nobody has time to watch hours of footage. Paznicul Virtual solves this for businesses in Romania. Vigilessa takes the same solution across the European Union, under a brand designed from day one for international customers.

The product works on the existing cameras and connects to the customer's point-of-sale system. For every order it compares what the camera sees with the transaction: the tray or items handed over against the receipt. When something does not match, the manager receives the short clip and the receipt, and a person decides what happened. Most differences are honest mistakes, and Vigilessa is built to be fair to employees: they are informed, access to footage is limited, recordings are kept only as long as needed. Iris, the AI assistant, answers questions on WhatsApp about shifts, voids or discounts.

The vigilessa.com website is not a machine translation of the Romanian site. Every page was adapted for Europe: Romanian legislation was replaced with European-level GDPR rules and references to the national data protection authority, prices are in euros, and examples and wording read naturally in each language. English sits at the root of the site, and the other 12 languages (Greek, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Czech, Swedish, Danish and Turkish) each have their own prefix, with the same addresses.

For search engines and AI assistants, every page has a title and description in its own language, hreflang links between all 13 versions, structured data, a sitemap and llms.txt files that describe the product for AI models. New pages are announced to search engines automatically, and the domain is verified in Google's search console.

The blog has its own orchestrator. Every three days it picks the next approved topic from our admin panel, generates a realistic image, writes a practical article of more than a thousand words with no invented figures or studies, translates it into all 13 languages and publishes it with a blog card, an updated sitemap and a notice to search engines. If any step fails, the live site stays untouched. Also automatically, the article is scheduled on Facebook, Instagram and Threads: in English on the day it is published and in another European language the next day, in rotation.

Customers can create an account at app.vigilessa.com: sign-up with email confirmation, login, password reset by email, password change and account deletion. After logging in they see a demo dashboard, clearly marked as sample data, and can request a demo on their own recordings. The request goes straight to the sales team. Emails are sent from the vigilessa.com domain, authenticated for reliable delivery.

Vigilessa is in early access: it has no paying customers yet, the dashboard runs on demo data, and the images on the site are illustrative scenes. It is loss prevention software, not a guarding service.
